We’re proud to announce that WorkIQ is once again a regional hub partner for the National AI Challenge 2026 — and this year is bigger than ever.
Delivered by TechIreland, supported by Enterprise Ireland and the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) Network, the National AI Challenge brings together developers, students, founders and AI professionals from across Ireland to design, build and demonstrate AI-powered solutions to real-world business and societal challenges.
What Is the National AI Challenge?
Running from 28th August to 14th September 2026, the challenge will see more than 400 participants collaborate across 10+ regional hubs throughout the island of Ireland. The programme culminates in a nationwide showcase on Monday, 14th September, with demonstration events taking place simultaneously across all hubs.
Now in its third year, the National AI Challenge has become one of Ireland’s leading collaborative AI initiatives — bringing together innovators, enterprises, researchers, public sector organisations and community partners to explore how AI can deliver meaningful, people-centred impact.
