From data chaos to business clarity: meet Salam Adedokun of Insights Titan

Most businesses have plenty of data. The challenge is knowing what to do with it.

That’s where Salam Adedokun, founder of Insights Titan, comes in. Based at WorkIQ, Salam helps businesses transform scattered information into reliable reporting, better decision-making and actionable insights. From marketing agencies and SaaS companies to private equity firms, Insights Titan works behind the scenes to ensure businesses spend less time chasing numbers and more time using them.

Since taking the leap from full-time employment into entrepreneurship, Salam has grown Insights Titan from a specialist data consultancy serving marketing agencies into a business supporting organisations across multiple industries with data engineering, reporting and AI implementation.

Can you tell us a bit about what your company does and what you’re currently working on?

We are a data engineering and analytics company. We help businesses get their data into the right place, clean it, automate the process and make it useful for reporting and decision-making.

A lot of what we do is practical implementation. We work with the tools businesses already use, understand what they are trying to achieve and then build around that.

Right now, we are working across data engineering, reporting and AI implementations for different businesses, including marketing agencies, SaaS companies and private equity firms.

What problem does your business help solve, and why is that important to you or your clients?

A lot of businesses have data, but the problem is usually how the data is collected, connected and used.

Their data might be in different systems, the reporting might take too long, or people may not trust the numbers they are looking at.

We help solve that by bringing the data together, cleaning it and building the right process around data delivery.

It is important because businesses should not spend all their time trying to find their data or wondering if the numbers are correct. They should be able to use it to make decisions.

What’s one of the bigger challenges you’ve faced recently as a business?

One of the bigger challenges we have faced recently is how to build AI solutions for businesses with the right guardrails.

AI is moving fast, and businesses want to implement it, which makes sense. But implementation is only one part of it. Businesses need to think about the data being used, who has access to it, what AI is allowed to do and where human review is needed.

So part of the challenge has been building those guardrails into the solutions and also educating businesses on why they are important from the beginning.

Is there something about your company or the work you do that might surprise people?

Probably how small the team is compared to the kind of projects we take on. We are a small team, and we actually like it that way.

It means we can move quickly, stay close to our clients and make swift decisions. We also work across a wide range of technologies. We are not looking to sell one particular solution. If the business already has the right tools, we would rather make those tools work properly than introduce something new.

What are you most proud of in the business so far?

I am proud of how much we have been able to grow in the last year. I moved straight from a full-time role into building the business, and initially we were mainly building data solutions for marketing agencies.

Since then, we have grown and expanded the kind of work we do and now serve businesses in other industries, including SaaS and private equity

For me, it’s the pride of seeing that businesses trust us and seeing the work facilitate their growth

What made you choose WorkIQ as your workspace?

I spent the first year working from home, and I needed more than a new table to work. I wanted to be around other founders and people building businesses.

You can work from anywhere now, but being in an environment where you can speak to someone who has probably faced a similar problem before is very useful.

That was a big part of choosing WorkIQ.

How have you found WorkIQ and the community since being based here?

WorkIQ has been a great community. I heard someone describe it as a university for founders, and I think that is quite accurate.

If you are willing to learn and you are like a sponge, it is a great place to be. You meet people at different stages, in different industries, solving diverse problems. And when you can, you get to give back based on what you have experienced.

The most rewarding part is watching businesses in the community grow, seeing how much they had to iterate to get there, and watching that journey unfold.

What a beauty!

Building more than dashboards

Whether that’s creating trusted reporting systems, streamlining processes, implementing AI responsibly or helping teams understand the story behind their numbers, Salam and the team are passionate about turning complexity into clarity.

If you’d like to learn more about Insights Titan, explore how better reporting could support your business, or simply connect with another founder from the WorkIQ community, we’d encourage you to reach out.

Because sometimes, the smartest business decision starts with a conversation.
