At WorkIQ, we are committed to fostering innovation and collaboration within our community. The Innovation Showcase 2025 exemplified this commitment by bringing together entrepreneurs, partners, and industry leaders to celebrate and explore the dynamic business landscape of Tallaght.

Panel Discussion: The Evolution of Tallaght
The event commenced with an engaging panel discussion hosted by Gary Fox from The Entrepreneur Experience Podcast. The conversation focused on Tallaght’s transformation and featured insights from:
- Eamon Leonard – Entrepreneur and Investor: A seasoned entrepreneur and investor, Eamon has been instrumental in developing and building products, leading teams, and creating communities. During the panel, he explained his deep-rooted connection to Tallaght and how he has dedicated over 20 years to fostering innovation. Eamon’s ventures, including founding Cohort and co-founding Broadstone VC, reflect his commitment to supporting early-stage startups and contributing not only to the local economy but also to the country’s.
- Elizabeth Dunne – Primecore: Serving as the Group Finance Manager at Primecore, Elizabeth brings extensive experience in financial management. Born and raised in Tallaght, she was a decisive factor in moving the company to WorkIQ, as she still lives in the area. Elizabeth’s professional endeavors—as a coach, within Primecore, and in her new secret business (which we encourage you to keep an eye on!)—demonstrate her dedication to driving business growth and operational excellence within the community.
- Jo Stevens – Managing Director at Oxford Innovation Space: Jo highlighted the importance of creating supportive environments for startups and the impact of innovation spaces on local economies. WorkIQ is the first innovation center the company has brought to Ireland. She explained how the organization worked closely with the local authority to develop and establish a space like this in the area.
- Jason Frehill – South Dublin County Council: Jason provided insights into the council’s initiatives aimed at promoting economic development and supporting local businesses in South Dublin—not only by providing a space to work from but also by investing in local schools, sports, and other social initiatives to encourage people to stay in the area.

This discussion provided valuable perspectives on the collaborative efforts shaping Tallaght’s future.
