At WorkIQ, we’re surrounded by founders building solutions to real, everyday challenges.
Jacinta Clarke, founder of MindFuel and MindPod, is focused on helping people manage stress and understand how their nervous system responds under pressure.
Through MindPod, she’s creating practical tools people can use in real-life situations to build resilience and respond more effectively.

Can you tell us a bit about what your company does and what you’re currently working on?
MindPod helps people who are going through hard times, big life changes, or recovery.
It focuses on helping people understand their nervous system and how they move through different seasons in their day, like stress, overwhelm, calm, or clarity.
Right now I am building simple tools and support systems that people can actually use in real life, so they can reset, build strength, and handle life better over time.
What problem does your business help solve, and why does that matter?
A lot of people are overwhelmed, but they are still expected to perform without being given the tools to manage what is happening inside them.
So they either push through stress or shut down from it.
MindPod helps people notice stress earlier, understand what is happening in their system, and respond in a better way. It matters because real change does not come from information alone. It comes from having tools you can actually use in real situations and building that skill over time.
What’s one of the bigger challenges you’ve faced?
One of the biggest challenges has been translating something that I experience very deeply into something simple and practical for others.
I naturally think and feel at a deeper level, which led me into a strong commitment to personal growth, understanding, and empathy.
Over time, I have worked to turn those experiences into practical tools and solutions that can support both myself and other people. That depth can create contrast. Some people connect with it straight away, while others take a moment to understand it.
So the real challenge has been grounding that into something clear and usable in everyday life.
What might surprise people about your work?
What might surprise people is how practical it is. It is not just about mindset or staying positive. It is about understanding how your nervous system reacts, how stress builds up, and what you can do in real time to shift it.
Another thing is that I built this while working full time in completely different fields.
The environments changed, but the common thread was always learning, growth, compassion, and helping people build themselves up. That is what MindPod is built on.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud that this has been built from the ground up.
It has been fully bootstrapped, and what started as an idea is now something real that is being built and tested in real environments.
I have been learning everything along the way, from funding and building the concept to designing and developing the product, and bringing it into spaces like the Dublin Tech Summit.
Most of all, I am proud that it is no longer just an idea. It is something real that is being brought to life step by step.
What made you choose WorkIQ?
I chose WorkIQ because I wanted to be in a space where people are actually building things.
There is a real sense of momentum here, and being around others who are creating and growing helps keep that energy going and supports consistency.
How have you found WorkIQ and the community?
It has been really positive.
There is a strong balance between focus and community, which makes a big difference when you are building something.
I have also had great support along the way. Daniel has been a strong mentor and someone I have been able to learn and grow with. And even at the front of house, Jeanine brings a warm and welcoming energy. It is clear she is someone who is going to do great things, and that kind of environment makes the whole experience feel more human and connected.
“At the end of the day, MindPod is about giving people real tools they can use in real life, because that is where learning, growth, and real change actually happen.”
MindPod is built on a simple but often overlooked idea: people don’t just need more information, they need tools they can actually use in real life.
Jacinta Clarke is turning that into something practical, accessible and growing step by step, helping people better understand stress, build resilience and navigate everyday challenges with more clarity.
