National AI Challenge 2025
Ireland’s National AI Challenge 2025 is an innovation sprint empowering developers and AI enthusiasts to work in teams and build solutions or agentic workflows for real problem-statements. Receive mentoring from some of the best minds in Irish Tech.
On 5th September, teams will present/demo in any of the 10+ hubs in the country, and top teams get to showcase in the National AI Meet in Galway on 18th Sep.
You will be provided access to AI Studio, ChatGPT-4o, o3, Gemini, useful datasets, APIs and support for two weeks: 22nd Aug to 4th Sep.
Timelines:
- 1st July: Registrations open (FREE!)
- 10th August: Registrations close.
- NOTE: Register as an Individual and you can form teams by 21 Aug
- NOTE: Please select where you heard about the Challenge in the Order Form dropdown.
- 11st August: Kick-off Webinar. Guidelines and Slack invite sent to all.
- 11th August to 21st August:
- – AI Challenge webinars (tech, sector problems, commercial insights, your ideas)
- – Network on the Slack Channel – hussle and build your Team
- – Designate a team leader
- – 5-9 per team. All members based in Ireland or Northern Ireland
- – Pick your topic/theme from our list or bring your own idea
- – Pick your preferred location from our list of Partner Hubs
- 21st August 5:00 pm: Send us details of team members
- 22nd Aug @ 12:00 am: Google, OpenAI keys sent to Team Leaders
- 4th Sep @ 9:00 pm: Deadline to send final slides, presentations
- 5th Sep @ 9:00 am: Arrive at your AI Challenge venue – practice your pitch/demo, network with mentors and experts – and win hearts! Top teams announced EOD.
