Can you tell us a bit about what your company does and what you’re currently working on?

HireWise is a recruitment company built around a Recruitment as a Service model. The team operates as an embedded internal recruitment function, managing hiring needs end-to-end for client organisations.

Right now, the business is also developing a recruitment workflow product designed to improve how companies plan and execute hiring. The goal is to create a major value add for the industry and change how organisations approach recruitment planning moving into 2026 and beyond.

What problem does your business help solve, and why is that important to you or your clients?

HireWise focuses on preventing poor hiring decisions. A wrong hire can impact multiple layers of a business, affecting productivity, costs and team dynamics.

The company audits and refines recruitment processes using its structured four-step hiring methodology. The broader mission is to help clients build a healthy hiring culture, leading to stronger teams, higher performance and better long-term business outcomes.

What’s one of the bigger challenges you’ve faced recently as a business?

Market uncertainty has influenced hiring activity, particularly during periods of global economic concern. Another growing challenge has been the rise of fake profiles, including AI-assisted interview preparation and falsified CVs.

While initially time-consuming, HireWise has developed systems to identify these risks early, protecting client businesses from poor hiring outcomes.

Is there something about your company or the work you do that might surprise people?

Many organisations underestimate how complex recruitment really is. Hiring is not simply advertising and interviewing. There are multiple layers across strategy, process, evaluation and long-term workforce planning.

HireWise often finds process gaps across businesses of all sizes. Small process improvements can create significant positive impact across entire organisations.

What are you most proud of in your business so far?

The company has grown from a startup founded in an attic to supporting more than 20 clients and placing hundreds of candidates across industries. Strong client retention and repeat business are key points of pride, reflecting trust in the HireWise model.
